WINCH SYSTEM

The Winch System by Wahlberg Motion Design is an advanced, precision-engineered solution for adding dynamic movement and automation to any events.

The Winch System enables the seamless automated movement of lasers, lighting fixtures, sfx equipment, and other special effects hardware.

Each double-wired winch is capable of lifting up to 50 kilograms, with integrated power and data lines built into the cabling to control the suspended equipment. The dual-wire design prevents unwanted spinning and allows a smooth, stable lift, ensuring that any complex setup can be used safely.

Every aspect of the Winch System is built for precise control and creative flexibility. Operated via DMX and featuring a high-resolution 16-bit positioning system, the winches can be programmed down to the millimetre, allowing for perfectly timed cues and repeatable movements.

With a maximum extension of 12.5 meters and a full travel speed of 0.5 meter per second, the system offers the reach and speed needed for dynamic reveals, flying effects, and stage transformations.
